CHILLED TURTLE SAYS 'GET YOUR UKE OUT' FOR PADDLE ROUND THE PIER 2008

Chilled Turtle are proud to announce the 'Mass Play' Ukulele event at the Beach Festival Paddle Round The Pier on Sunday 6th July 2008. Visit www.paddleroundthepier.com for more details about the event.

'We love the Ukulele and know you do too, we are really excited about this event. We need you, your Ukulele and your enthusiasm to join in playing for charity' said Kevin Gentle of Chilled Turtle.

Chilled Turtle are looking for Bands and Individuals who love playing the Uke. 'We are looking for anyone who is enthusiastic about the Uke, ability is not what's its about - its about joining in, having fun and raising money for charity'

The venue is the main marquee at the beach festival 'Paddle Round The Pier' on Sunday 6th from 10am to 3pm. Chilled Turtle would like to have a mass play on the beach sending the paddlers off on their journey with the great sound of the Ukulele from the beach. We have fantastic news that The Rinky Dinks have just confirmed they will be joining the Festival and playing a set before we head off down the beach to play sending the Paddlers off into the sea !

'We want to send the Paddlers off into the sea playing a tune we will post up shortly - it will not be complicated and we want as many people as we can to join in on the beach playing and singing , the atmosphere will be great'

'Its all for Charity and about raising money, having fun and meeting a great bunch of like minded people' said Rebecca Richardson of Chilled Turtle.

You must have your own Ukulele, borrow one or search in the attic for the one that got stashed there !
